RAKSHA BANDHAN

To celebrate Raksha Bandhan we invited some children from the NGO- IPER. Our kids tied Rakhi on them . Then there was a dance and song performance and some children also recited poems . Everybody thoroughly enjoyed the program. The main idea of this celebration was to convey to the children that Raksha Bandhan is not only a bonding between a brother and sister rather it is much more than that. We can put a Rakhi on any person we like to, be it your mother, father, teacher or your friend with a promise that we will always stand by each other and be together in all times. So our children while tying Rakhi to each other took a pledge that they will also stand by each other and be together all the time.
